Colpitts Family Reunion

 Colpitts, Albert County

The following text was transcribed Donald Colpitts from the August 27th, 1928 edition of the Moncton Daily Times.  Thank you Don for this and your other contributions to Albert Co. GenWeb pages.  Your work is very much appreciated.

The Fourth General Re-union of the Colpitts Family will be held at the old home-stead,
Colpitts, Albert Co., N.B. on Thursday, August 25, 1910.
At the last re-union nearly five hundred were in attendance.
It is hoped that many more will be present on this occasion
Dinner and tea will be taken on the grounds. All who are within a day's journey are requested to bring baskets, with some thing extra added for the friends from a distance.
Those coming by train will buy tickets to Salisbury. Teams will meet the MORNING trains, East and West, and passengers will be conveyed to the picnic grounds at reasonable expense.
No special rates can be secured from the railroad, but any party of ten or more
from the same point of departure can obtain excursion rates
Any letter of inquiry will be cheerfully answered.
